Do you know how artists get all weird and annoying when they struggle to express what they wanted to communicate with their art?
And do you know what's even worse!?
Doing it yourself... when you become one! Argh!!
Gay dudes... I don't know exactly what to say!
I want to stir your gay soul!
And it is because I believe in something I like to call "Gay Tranquility".
The straights have created an entire world to shield their psychology from the horrors of biological existence. And in order to ensure that they grow amd develop easily and correctly... throughout their lives they are offered celebrations of relatively mundane achievements to create a far better narrative about their lives and interactions with society than what biology would have left them otherwise.
From Homecoming to Sadie Hawkins, from debutante cotillions to downtown parades..... the straights age into their sexuality... and throw a party for their young... so that the whole process of growing is as easy and culturely curated as they can make it possible.
You gay boys... however... were offered none of that.
Instead of praise and dances for your base sexuality... you were offered scorn and ridicule...
And that huge difference... has left its effect on all of us!
And I believe on some more than others!
Too often over the years I have met too many gays... often into the scene... that later after the encounter... I felt their behavior was too far off to be standard. Its like a lot of societies average learnings were just missed... as seemingly dealing with the huge gay elephant in the room... took all their attention... and at the end of it... there was no more space left inside.
Being gay was such an escape focus... that it got in the way of a clear understanding of the world, its history, and its direction. A full global world construct not just consisting of down the drag of West Hollywood... but from the very real volcanoes of Kamchatka to the literary shores of Middle Earth... all seem to be lacking inside.
Something got in the way.
Gay Tranquility.
So why did I just write all that?
Well one way I think we can combat Gay Tranquility is to expose are own... to the world the straights created for themselves... that these gays somehow just never saw.
A world of daring adventure, and love, and laughter... that gets your blood flowing and your heart beating! That gets you enganged and interested to discover everything thats out there!
As I said at the start... I want to stir your gay soul!
Just like the way the straights have their emotions and feeling tussled when they engage with their art constantly, daily, secondly!
